They also visited famous landmarks of the city such as the Bratislava Castle and the Devin Castle. Moreover, the Slovakian representatives brought their newfound Indian friends on a boat trip to Vienna for a day.
The students from St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School were very impressed by the horse riding and fishing classes at the Slovakian school. They were also happy to learn the Slovakian way of welcoming people with bread and salt. The exchange programme gave them an insight into the Slovakian family system, an understanding of the Slovakian lifestyle by living with host families and a great learning experience of the political and social system of Slovakia.
In the words of Mr K. KELKAR, First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Bratislava Mr, an exchange programme of this nature benefits students and the whole of Slovakia and India alike as it enlightens the students significantly.
